STRINGS in the City - for STARTS Urban Fest
Can we touch and move each other on the internet? How do we live in a city where everyone needs to stay apart? In STRINGS in the City, the dancer reacts to the collective actions of an online audience through connected wearables placed on each arm and leg. The dancer is found inanimate in the public space after several months of self-isolation. She will rely on the audience interactions to help her live through movement again and reconnect with the outside world.
